Carter was owned by his breeder, Jean Edwards, of Coventry Siberians. He resided with his handler and best friend, Tim, at Snoebear Siberians.
Carter was a once in a lifetime dog - achieving tremendous success not only in the show ring but also as a stud dog. He was one of the nation's top Siberians for 4 years, achieving the rank of #1 Siberian in the US in 2008. He won over 40 group 1st, 10 Best in Specialty Shows and a Best in Show in the US and Canada. He was Best of Opposite Sex at both the 2008 and 2009 Westminster Kennel Club dogs shows. Upon retirement from the show ring, Carter settled into life as a stud dog, producing top winning get all over the world.
Carter reigned as King of Snoebear Kennels for 9 years, watching-over his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Even today, he remains the most influential dog in our breeding program, leaving his mark on every litter we breed at Snoebear.
